Got a Couch!

Our first couch! May 2012 - so exciting. 
Had it delivered, so difficult for them to get it up 5 flights of stairs. And it seemed impossible to get through the door but they did!
We also sold the small white couch on Craigslist which was nice to make some extra cash and avoid living room crowding.

Ah so amazing!

Painting - Living Room and Kitchen

As soon as D got done painting the bedroom, we started painting the living room and kitchen. We had picked out the colors before we moved so we could get this done ASAP.
Painted rooms = feels like home.
The yellow in the kitchen (and soon to be in bathroom) is Mellow Yellow. I'll need to remember that the grey is called in the living room. The grey is Down Pour and it is perfection.

Living room painted! Love this shade of grey - looks like purple/blue in some light. Doesn't take away  from the brick.

Love Living Next to Central Park

It's been really wonderful living next to Central Park. It's so nice to go out for walks after work, and for easy chill weekend days relaxing in the park.

March - Moving In Process

The first few weeks after moving in... with wedding planning, I had a trip to Ireland, planning our 3 week honeymoon, D had a work trip... so we just got things done as we could...
